Mandatory Passport Requirement for Exams (A1 to C2) from 1st September 2025

Effective September 1st, 2025, all candidates appearing for language exams from Level A1 to C2 must present a valid passport, which will be the only accepted form of identification.

Please note the following:

1.Only original passports will be accepted on the day of the exam.
2.Photocopies, digital versions, or scanned copies (whether printed or electronic) will not be accepted under any circumstances.
3.Other forms of ID such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License, PAN Card, etc., will no longer be accepted for identification purposes.
4.This does not apply to Exams for Young People (Fit 1 and A2 Fit in German).

Candidates who fail to present a valid original passport will not be allowed to take the exam.

Examination payment must be made only from the registered candidate’s own bank account. Payments originating from third-party accounts will be rejected, and no refunds will be processed.



Please Note: Results of Goethe Zertifikat exams at Hyderabad will be announced approximately 10 weeks from the date of exam and Certificates will be issued at our center approximately 2 weeks after the results are announced.
