It is an intriguing play on the intricacies, crests and troughs of the man-woman relationship as seen through the eyes of their pet dog. Here a dog narrates the odd behaviour between a man and woman who have bound themselves to one another even though neither can stand the other`s company. The satirical play reflects on energy-sapping relationships and the acceptance of misery.
Sibylle Berg is a Swiss-German author and playwright, and one of the most celebrated contemporary writers in the German-speaking world. They have written 29 plays, 16 novels, numerous anthologies and radio plays. They received the Grand Prix Literature for her work, the highest award given by Switzerland for literary work along with other awards.
The play is being presented as part of The Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Festival 2023. The play is presented by Afsana Theatre from Mumbai who present plays like Phislan and Janpat Bijnor
