German Film Screening at Lamakaan: Le Prince (2021)
A love story in Frankfurt that offers all kinds of cultural adventures: A Congolese, played by Passi Balende and a German woman, played by Ursula Strauss fall in love and enter into a relationship, knowing full well that it might not be easy. In fact, the man has more criminal energy than the woman would like, so she would rather be his Samaritan than his ally. In her debut film, Lisa Bierwirth tells the story of this difficult relationship in a pleasantly sober manner, which is made possible by the great protagonists.
